Serving other followers of God in the local church is what we call "ministry". God has gifted each of His followers to uniquely serve in ministry. In fact, at NHC we believe that there is nothing God has called us as a church to do that He hasn't already gifted us for. If there is a ministry in the church that needs to be met, God has already chosen somebody in our church to meet it. We've each been equipped by God with our spiritual gifts, our passions, our abilities, our personality and our experiences to be the church God wants us to be.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” - I Corinthians 12:4-7

Ask anyone at NHC, and they'll probably tell you that being a part of a Ministry Team is one of their favorite things about being a Partner in our church. Serving others is fun; serving others together as a team is revolutionary. Every NHC Partner is encouraged to find his/her place to serve.
