The Christian life begins at salvation. But it doesn't end there. God's desire is that each of us become what the Bible calls a "disciple" or student of Jesus. At NHC, we offer five Discovery Classes that help you become fully-devoted followers of God.

Our Christian Life And Service Seminars (CLASS) teach you all about what it looks like to follow Christ and gives you the tools you will need for the next step of your journey. Start with Class 101 and see how God transforms your life as you grow in your faith.

Every D-Class takes place on one Sunday afternoon in a comfortable small group setting. One of our pastors and/or staff will lead the conversation and guide you every step of the way. A meal and child-care are provided.

> Class 101: Discovering Nags Head Church is a great step for learning about the history of NHC, what we believe, and how you can partner with us to make a difference in the world. You’ll also be given the opportunity to become a follower of God and sign up for baptism. D-NHC happens on a Sunday afternoon every couple of months.

> Class 201: Discovering Discipleship is the next step to becoming more like Jesus, learning how to spend time with God through prayer and Bible study, discovering the importance of giving, and understanding the value of community.

> Class 301: Discovering My Ministry will help you discover how God can use your Spiritual gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences to help you serve others in the church.

> Class 401: Discovering My Mission will give you the tools to focus on your calling, learn how to share your story with others, write down your personal testimony, and see how to impact the world around you with Christ’s love.

> Class 501: Discovering Worship will lead you to a deeper appreciation of Who God is, how much He loves us, and how and why we should express our love to and for Him.
